Sportweekend Filzbach 2023
In autumn 2023 Rainbow Sport Zurich will be holding its traditional sports and training weekend in
Filzbach for the 21st time.
SPORT OFFER
We offer training sessions in the following sports
– Aerobics, Bootcamp, Group Fitness
– Yoga, Dance
– Martial arts (wrestling, self-defence)
– swimming
– sport climbing
– squash
– volleyball
– badminton
– running
– and now also tennis (for beginners to intermediate level).
The weekend is always a great opportunity to try out a different sport and try something new.
The training sessions all take place ‘under one roof’ at the Kerenzerberg Sports Centre and are
usually under the guidance of our well-known and qualified trainers.
Besides the training sessions, there are many other possibilities for additional activities, e.g. bowling,
billiards, table football, table tennis, sauna or whirlpool, massages, the Rainbow Sport Party on
Saturday evenings.
WHEN
The weekend starts on Friday, 29 Sept. 2023 with dinner at 18.15 hrs.
and ends on Sunday, 01 Oct. 2023 after lunch.
WHERE
Kerenzerberg Sports Centre in Filzbach (Canton Glarus).
Filzbach is about an hour’s drive from Zurich, in the middle of the Swiss Alps, high above beautiful
Lake Walen. The village is also easy to reach by public transport (train + bus) (except later in the
evening).
The sports centre consists of 6 gyms, indoor swimming pool, squash courts, dojo, gym and much
more. Accommodation is available directly in the sports centre as well as in the adjacent Hotel Top of
Sports (approx. 200m away) and catering in the in-house restaurant with very good cuisine.
PRICE AND SERVICES
The unbeatable price from CHF 210.- per person (CHF 245.- per person if staying in a hotel room)
includes the following services:
– 2 nights’ accommodation (2-person/3-person room),
– Full board: all meals, snacks between meals, training lessons
– Training lessons, hall rental, sports equipment
– Aperitif on Friday evening, Rainbow Sport Party, etc.
